I have a HP Compaq 8200 Elite USDT desktop PC

with intergrated Intel HD graphic (graphic memory 256 MB)
I have installed the
Intel Graphics Update Tool for Linux OS from
https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloa...inux-os-v2.0.2
but I have problems with it.
Very often it flickers when I work .

Very often by I notice a flicker when I am surfing the net.
Does anyone have experience with this problem.

Hi Angie,
I tried giving in on the terminal:
sudo apt-get install intel-microcode
dmesg | head -n1sudo apt-get install microcode.ctl intel-microcode
Reboot your computer.
and I also
made the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf
with content:Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Graphics"Driver "intel"
Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"
EndSection
that stopped the flicker
but the display is nothing great.
