Hello People,
a few days ago i purchased a S3420GPC with X3420 Xeon, both works great but only with my normal DDR3 Ram from my computer.
I bought 2x4GB DDR3 HYNIX 2Rx4 PC3-8500R-7-10-E1 RAM but the Server wont start up.
I already checked:
-RAM is on the supported list
-Configuration switched (Single,Dual,Quad Rank etc)
But the screen stays black.
Any help?

Can I have the model number of the memory you had before, and the model number of the new memory you have?

Thank you for the update. I do see the memory modules listed on our validation list. Are these new modules known to be working fine?
I would recommend installing the original memory modules and make sure the unit is running with the most BIOS version release.

It would be a good idea to gather the logs of the system to see what is being recorded when the new memory is installed.
You can download our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=19657 Intel System Information Retrieval Utility to capture the logs.
