Same SOPC Different Project Not Working!!

We are having trouble with an Integration of NIOS in a previous Quartus project.

For testing purposes, We first generate the SOPC for the nios configurationthat we would like to use, including a NIOS+EPCS16+onchipram+externalDDRam+some other IO Registers to interact with our design.

The NIOS-ONLY Project Works and Runs correctly(EPCS,RAM,IO)

In our previous Quartus Project, we create a folder (hdl_nios) where we are copying the .sopc file.

Then we open the SOPC builder, open the file, and Generate the System.

Once done we insert the nios component in the top .bdf add its pins and the corresponding pin asignments.

After compilation. Nios is not Working, Any ideas????

the hdl_nios folder is done so that all the genearated files from sopc_builder are contained in this folder and not mixed up with all the other files on the design, can this be a problem?

When a cooperative work is done like this, (one makes the nios system and someone else the other design), which files need to be shared?

only .sopc?

We are sharing .sopc since suposedly after generating it will generate automatically all the .sdc and required files isnt it?

I would like to have in versio controll only the required files ej .sopc and not all the automatially generated files,(db etc)

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Is there a version control from Quartus?

Thankyou
